Our journey started back in 2018, then known as Audra Allen Dancing LLC, offering virtual dance lessons and classes and founded by then Audra Allen, now Audra Queen.
We spent a year and a half supporting adults who were not able to attend in person classes for whatever reason, and presenting at conferences on the value of supplementing in-person training with virtual training.
Then 2020 came and the pandemic hit. All of a sudden our business model was needed, not just a nice afterthought. We became an instant resource, offering numerous free virtual workshops on how to shift your business to online overnight.
Unexpectedly business owners started hiring Audra to work with them 1:1 and that was our unexpected pivot into coaching.
Later in 2020 we started offering virtual coaching programs and renamed ourselves as The Dance CEO Coach™ which we have been ever since. We now focus on the individuals behind the dance businesses and helping them bring balance and thrive in their lives by offering both personal development and business coaching.

Growing up, Audra put all her time and energy into pursuing a professional ballet career.
With no previous plans to do so, Audra attended college a few years after high school to earn her BA in music theatre: dance and fell in love with choreography. And from there earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona, focusing on choreography and teaching.
While earning her MFA, Audra also held the position of co-choreographer for a local contemporary dance company and taught at multiple studios.
Audra’s first professional position after graduate school was Director of Dance for a public, residential high school in northern Louisiana. Shortly after, also joined as adjunct dance professor for Northwestern State University in the same location.
With no prior desire to ever own her own business, it was her divorce in 2018 that started her on this path she’s now on. Becoming a single mom to a 4 and 2 yr old, God guided her to start teaching virtual dance lessons live online and a new type of dance career was born.

Her husband lives in Florida and she lives in New Orleans, a 7 hour drive apart. They are both divorced and remarried with shared custody of their kids with their former partners. So they split their time between the two locations to optimize their time together and with all their kids. When Audra is not with her kids in New Orleans, she heads to Florida.
As an adult Audra has lived in numerous places in the United States, and never thought she’d never fall in love with living in the south. She now proudly calls Louisiana home and can’t imagine living anywhere else at the moment.
Audra didn’t know about her ADHD until she was 37 and her autism a year and a half later. Intentionally putting in the work to learn how her brain works and releasing the emotional trauma from years of not knowing. Embracing who she is has led her to being more impactful when serving others.
After her divorce in 2018, and being married for 8 years, she became an instant part-time single mom to a 4 and 2 yr old. For 4 years Audra struggled to make ends meet, while healing from the failed marriage and working to build the virtual dance business she felt called by God to do.
When growing up, Audra always stated that she never wanted to own a studio because she didn’t want to deal with challenging clients. Plus, she had no idea how to
She is so grateful that God led her to start then Audra Allen Dance LLC, now THe Dance CEO Coach™ because she can’t imagine it being any other way now.
In 2023, Audra formally started her second business, Thriving Queen Coaching™, to serve women with ADHD and personal development. She happily runs both businesses with the support of her loved ones and team.
