I know firsthand how life-altering, disorienting, and emotionally draining this season can be. When I went through my own divorce in 2015, I remember feeling like the ground underneath me kept shifting. I was trying to protect my children, make logical financial decisions, and keep a roof over our heads… all while managing heartbreak, fear, and the unknown.

There were moments I felt completely lost — not because I wasn’t strong, but because no one gives you a roadmap for this.

Today, creating that roadmap is exactly what I do for others.

After 30+ years in the mortgage industry and years spent working closely with attorneys, mediators, CDFAs, and financial professionals, I saw the same painful pattern over and over:
