Over 9 weeks this Virtual Workshop series offers a safe space to explore and validate your career ambitions and nurture your unique leadership style.

Origins of the Program
Brave Group, home to Brave Feminine Leadership, has been running versions of the Women Leading in Education – Elevate & Impact program since 2023.
Over the past three years, facilitators Melissa Hamilton and Kelli Hayes have continually refined the program based on feedback from cohort participants and the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership. What’s emerged is a program with all the right ingredients: purposeful content, self-paced coursework, practical activities, peer connection, and facilitated sessions scheduled at times that genuinely work for women in education.
Yes, we even worked out the best day of the week and time of day.
The program has been intentionally designed to fit alongside the realities of busy roles in education. One honest heads-up: we couldn’t completely remove the reflective work between sessions. This is, after all, work on yourself.
You get out what you put in. And when you do put the work in, many participants notice when you do put the work in, many participants notice they lead with more confidence and less friction in their day-to-day work. Melissa Hamilton and Kelli Hayes from the Brave Group are the facilitators for this program. Both are executive mentors and former CEOs of large global businesses leading upward of 5000+ employees, Melissa and Kelli bridge the corporate and education sectors, showing participants how leadership challenges—especially for women—are universal. Who is Women Leading in Education - Elevate & Impact for?
Historically when delivered for the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, the program was aimed at Assistant Principals, Aspiring Principals and Principals. However we have opened this program up to all levels of female leadership.
This program is designed for ambitious women in education, whether you’re an experienced leader wanting to keep your leadership approach current and effective, new to leadership and learning how to get results through others, or exploring what’s next in your career.
Whether you’re stepping into a more senior role, considering a pivot, returning from a break, or positioning yourself for your next move, this program supports women who are ready to move from feeling stuck to leading with momentum and confidence..
What results can I expect from this program?
Participants in Elevate & Impact report feeling more confident in their leadership and clear and intentional about their career paths. You’ll discover your unique leadership style, effective strategies for leading in the school environment and develop a solid career strategy that aligns with your values. Many participants share they have gained clarity on ther next move, and are equipped with the tools to achieve both professional success and personal balance. How does Elevate & Impact work?
The program is delivered over 9 weeks and includes a mix of live virtual sessions, interactive exercises, and an individual mentoring/coaching session. You’ll have access to a Strategic Leadership Development Plan that helps you move from uncertainty to clarity, plus a supportive community of like-minded leaders in education who are on the same journey.
Is this the same program that was run for the Academy?
This is the exact program that was delivered in 2025. Brave Group and Brave Feminine Leadership designed the program and the Academy has given us their blessing to run the program direct to schools in 2026. We do this with their full support.
What are the Dates for the April 2026 Program?
The sessions are spread out to provide sufficient time to cover the course work:
Session 1: Thursday April 23rd 2026 9AM-11AM
Session 2: Thursday 14th May 2026 9AM-11AM
Session 3: Thursday 4th June 2026 9AM-11AM
Coaching is scheduled after the final session.
